Erik Vilím (*1990) je estetik, kurátor, kritik a kultúrny pracovník. V rokoch 2017 až 2019 absolvoval doktorandské štúdium na Ústave literárnej a umeleckej komunikácie na Univerzite Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre. Jeho záverečná práca niesla názov Meditatívnosť výrazu vo vizuálnom umení. Už počas štúdia začal pripravovať mnoho samostatných a skupinových výstav a súčasne pracoval ako asistent v galérii Zahorian & Van Espen. Pravidelne publikuje v odborných periodikách a online platformách.  Je členom slovenskej sekcie AICA. Absolvoval niekoľko rezidenčných pobytov. Medzi rokmi 2019 a 2022 pôsobil ako manažér edičných projektov v Kunsthalle Bratislava. V rokoch 2022 a 2023 pracoval ako projektový manažér na Inštitúte kultúrnej politiky Ministerstva kultúry SR, kde bol súčasne členom prípravného tímu Stratégie kultúry a kreatívneho priemyslu SR 2030. Žije a pracuje v Bratislave. 

                                     Erik Vilím (*1990) is an aesthetician, curator, critic and cultural worker. Between 2017 and 2019 he completed his PhD studies at the Institute of Literary and Artistic Communication at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. His final thesis has been titled Meditativeness of Expression in Visual Art. Already during his studies he started to prepare many solo and group exhibitions and at the same time he worked as an assistant at Zahorian & Van Espen gallery. He regularly publishes in journals and online platforms.  He is a member of the Slovak section of AICA. He has completed several residencies. Between 2019 and 2022, he worked as an editorial project manager at Kunsthalle Bratislava. Between 2022 and 2023, he worked as a project manager at the Institute of Cultural Policy of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, where he was also a member of the main team of the Strategy for Culture and Creative Industry of the Slovak Republic 2030. He lives and works in Bratislava. He is currently a freelancer.
